RiteSource applies the latest developments in PACS and digital radiology technology to its business practices. PACS data is received from customer facilities over a secure Virtual Private Network (VPN). Our fully redundant LAN/WAN network infrastructure is designed to ensure the utmost in reliability, providing security and stability to your transmission.
RiteSource’s reading stations are equipped to view a variety of radiology technology, including:
- CT scans
- MRI scans
- Ultrasounds
- X-rays
During implementation, RiteSource works closely with client staff to define and implement the network technology that is optimal. Clients can use technology already in place. We also offers dedicated FTP space to our clients to transmit the digitized images for interpretation.
Studies are received in a compressed DICOM format and evaluated, after which a typewritten report is sent back to the attending physician. If a case requires immediate medical attention, a call will be made to the attending physician to discuss the findings. RiteSource also offers toll-free phone and fax numbers for clients to contact the radiologists directly.
